Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

Hola!

I think today is Dr. Seuss’ birthday – because when we walked into the library – they gave us green egg burritos and they were so good!

We did Crossfit every day last week! Woot, woot! It felt so good but my arms were always very sore afterwards. This week, we are going back to our normal gym, which will still be good to try and burn off all of those tortillas and desserts.

On Pancake Day, we met a gal named Jerusalem. She was in a hurry but we were able to get her information. We stopped by her house on Tuesday – and after about 5 minutes – she broke down and told us that we were an answer to her prayers. She has been having marital problems and she turned to God for help on the day that we met her. Sister Webb and I were shocked! We told her that there is no such thing as coincidences and that the Gospel of Jesus Christ will help her through everything that she is going through now and everything that she will ever go through. We brought Hesta (recent convert) with us on our next visit with her. Hesta is also having marital problems and she just loves this gospel more than anything. Hesta’s testimony truly inspired and touched Jerusalem. They have become quite good friends and both are continuing to learn about the gospel and the truth.

We had exchanges this week and Sister Valdivia (former companion) came here to spend the day with me in Liberal. Woot, woot! We had so much fun because it was like a reunion. It was so good to hear about all of the people in Lamar and how they are progressing. A lot of the people that Sister Valdivia and I taught are being baptized this month! Sister Valdivia loves being an STL and she is a stellar missionary.

Isaiah 41:13 – “For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.”

1 Timothy 4:12 – “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
